Structure of the Novel
One thing I find odd about the physical structure is that they're separated into parts for example part one and part two. It doesn't make sense to me because it wasn't that much of a turning point then most of the time. But the Plot structure is. In the beginning the author discribed the characters the setting and most importantly, the crash. Then the two teenagers find themselves crashed on the interstate in a blizzard with hurt parents. From there on they are trying to find a way to save their parents and climb to the top of the mountain. The teenagers get tired and often had arguments during their journey up the mountain. I think the climax of the book is in the beginning when they crashed because it was a large turning point in the story.At the end they find a solution.

Characters?
I don't think that they got frost bite because it would have probably stated that in the book and they didn't. Most likely they were just cold. Well if it were me I'd be freezing!

That sounds like a cool book. I have it Savvy at my house but i have not read it yet.

im reading SAVVY. its about a girl who gets special powers and right before her 13th birthday she finds out that her dad gets hurt really bad and she must get to her dad before her dad dies. her special power is making anything come to life and talk.

I also think the turning point is when she decides to stop traveling to San Fransisco and turns around to go back to Kapugen.

I agree with Katie (again), because when she went and married Daniel and lived with his family they all called her Julie. Since she did not like that experience, she probably just wanted to be Miyax.
